The SuiLang Markdown editor is part of SuiLang Tools, alongside the browser-based GBA player and image converter: free, nothing to install, works the moment you open it.
Why we built it
Every online Markdown editor we tried had the same annoyances: you must sign up before you can write; images need an image host and API keys; going offline leaves you with a blank screen; scripts are pulled from public CDNs that are unreliable on some networks. So the goal here is narrow and clear: open it, write, paste the result wherever you need it — with nothing uploaded along the way.
Privacy promise
- Your text is never sent to a server. Markdown parsing, highlighting, math rendering, diagram drawing and image compression all happen in your browser.
- Drafts are stored in your own browser's localStorage. Clearing site data removes them; we cannot read them.
- A share link carries the whole document inside the URL itself — nothing is stored server-side. Anyone with the link can read the content, so treat it like a public link.
- No third-party tracking scripts are loaded, and ad slots are off by default.
Under the hood
This is a fully static site. Every dependency (marked, DOMPurify, highlight.js, KaTeX, Mermaid) is self-hosted on this domain rather than pulled from a public CDN. Math and diagram libraries are lazy-loaded, so documents that do not use them stay light.
